Happy
Independence Day!! Today our class is back in the kitchen for practice. Like
usual days we are entered at 8:00 a.m. After oneline in front of the kitchen,
we all entered the kitchen and directly oneline in the kitchen. After that we
waited for Mr. Ical to give us a little material about the menu that we will
make today. Today we are only told to prepare and we will doing tomorrow.
Today
the menu that we will prepare is Indonesian Buffet, there are menus that we
will prepare are Dojang Nakeng, Rujak Mie, Soto Padang, Soto Banjar, White
Rice, Eggplant Santan, Plecing Sayur, Rendang Daging, Ayam Bakar Taliwang,
Roko- Roko Cangkuning and Bubuh Injin. And my group got a part to make Dessert
namely Roko-Roko Cangkuning and Bubuh Injin. We are affirmed by Chef Dino to
work regularly and all preparations are finished at 15.00pm.
Today,
what we prepare is only to make filling of Roko-Roko Cangkuning whose
ingredients are made from grated coconut and brown sugar which is thawed and
then mixed until the water seeps. We have also been taught by Pak Jaya how to
wrap Roko-Roko Cangkuning in the form of a Triangle. And from the Bubuh Injin
menu we prepared only Soak the Mung Beans for approximately 8 hours so the Mung
Beans are soft and not cooked for long.
