Good Night Foody, this time back i will tell you about my activity during kichen today. This time we entered at 08.00 am, but before entering in the kitchen, we do the ceremony every 17th as commemoration of KORPRI day. After the ceremony we directly to the kitchen and do Oneline in front of the kitchen and in the absent by the Supervisor in charge today. First we were given the materials about what is Table D'Hote and the types of Appetizer, Soup, Main Course, and Dessert brought by Mr. Syahrial.
This time we are divided into 2 groups and the first group consists of 5 groups. This time we will prepare Rotation Menu 1 which includes Chicken Salad Hawaian as Appetizer menu, Shrimp Bisque as Soup menu, Beef Staw, Bake of Potato and Zucchini Saute Provencale as Main Course menu and dessert menu is Yellow Butter Cake and French Bread. Because we have been divided into 2 groups so the first group will prepare all ingredients and the second group will help and tidy up.
I as a member of the first group and my group get a dessert menu that is Yellow Butter Cake, this time I will explain the steps to make Yellow Butter Cake:
1. Prepare materials and tools to be used.
2. The materials needed are:
· 720 gr Butter
· 780 grams of sugar
· 7 grams of salt
· 450 gr eggs
· 900 gr soft flour
· 35 gr baking powder
· 900 gr milk
· 15 ml vanilla
3. First mix the milk, egg and vanilla.
4. Put the flour into mixing dough then mix all the dry ingredients and butter.
5. After mixing all enter the milk that has been mixed with the egg slowly.
6. Mixer with standard speed until soft and until milk runs out.
7. After that prepare the mold that has been smeared with butter.
8. Bake for 20 minutes.
